Get in touch with your mind, body, and spirit through Yoga! Yoga can be beneficial to people of all ages and fitness levels. Not only is Yoga a great way to reduce stress through meditation, it is said to be a great way to restore and/or improve concentration, posture and flexibility while increasing strength, tone and energy.
Here are a couple of places you can try out:
Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church, in the gym building behind the church on Tuesday nights from 7-8 p.m., at 2025 W 11th St, Houston, TX 77008. Yoga@ResurrectionMCC.org.
Great place with friendly people! Connect with others in this non-competitive activity suitable for everyone. All ages, body types and skill levels are welcome. Please bring a mat, towel and water and arrive a few minutes early. Class is FREE; however, donations are accepted as instructors donate their time.
